Community guidelines
Last updated 19 October 2026
A club works when people feel comfortable being honest. Arguing about whether the third act ruined it is the whole point. These guidelines are about keeping it fun for everyone.
Be decent
Disagreement about taste is the point. Attacks on people aren’t. You can say a pick was a mess and you hated every minute; you can’t say the person who picked it is stupid.
What isn’t allowed
- Hate speech. Attacking people for who they are.
- Threats and harassment. Including repeated unwanted contact.
- Sexual content.
- Doxxing. Sharing someone’s personal information.
- Spam and self-promotion. This isn’t the place to advertise your channel, newsletter or product.
- Impersonation. Pretending to be another person, or a real person you aren’t.
- Anything illegal.
Spoilers
Not everyone has finished the pick when you have. Keep spoilers in the discussion thread for that pick, and out of club names, profile bios, suggestions and anywhere else people might see them by accident.
Reporting and blocking
If something breaks these guidelines, open the ••• menu on any post, suggestion, profile or public club and choose Report. You can also block a person, which hides them from you.
You can also email support@the-rotation.app if you can’t use the app.
What happens after a report
We review every report within 24 hours. We look at the content in context, and we may remove it, contact the person, or both.
Consequences
Depending on what happened, we may remove content, suspend an account, or ban it for good.
The full rules are in the terms of use.
